Granular "B"

Granular 'B' Aggregate is a heavy-duty construction material engineered to provide a robust, stable foundation for large-scale projects. Unlike Granular 'A', which features a finer mix for surface finishing, Granular 'B' consists of larger crushed stone or bank-run gravel (typically up to 4" in size) blended with sand and fines. Manufactured to meet OPSS (Ontario Provincial Standard Specifications), this aggregate is designed for maximum load-bearing capacity and excellent drainage. Its primary role is to create a thick, structural "sub-base" that bridges soft or unstable subsoils, ensuring the layers above remain level and secure.
